‘The Savior’ competes at OC Film Fiesta

Iranian short film ‘The Savior’ has taken part in the OC Film Fiesta in the United States.

‘The Savior’ competed in the 13th edition of the American event.

‘The Savior’, written and directed by Soheila Pour-Mohammadi, tells the story of a girl who has recently witnessed the death of her mother.

The cast members of the film include Mahmoud Taqavi and Setia Asadi.

‘The Savior’ brought Setia Asadi the Best Child Role award at the 2022 edition of International Social Film Festival “Love in every heart” in Russia. The film also received an Honorable Mention in Animation in the event.

The OC Film Fiesta is “the premier cinematic celebration of Orange County's diversity and multicultural heritage”.

“Each year, the Film Fiesta presents an award-winning selection of feature films, documentaries, short films and activities for a diverse audience of families, students, artists, professionals and lovers of cinema from throughout the county.”

The 13th OC Film Fiesta took place on October 13-23.
